Naps are fun. But once again I know I cannot take a nap until I've written at least one sentence.

Wednesday, December 29, 2010

Now that I'm back on a streak, I can concentrate less on the posting itself, and more on the posts themselves.

Tuesday, December 28, 2010

It's so tempting to sleep, but I know I cannot rest until I've typed out at least one sentence.

Yesterday was another case of Fission Mailure. I'll never become the greatest blogger in the world if this sort of spotty streak continues.

Saturday, December 25, 2010

Fission Mailure. I did not write anything yesterday, thus ending the streak at 10-15 days or so. Truly it was an act of God that prevented me from doing so.

I think the trick to writing a good blog is not to read other people's blogs.

Yesterday I was typing in possible URL's I thought about using to see if they were taken.

Very bad blogs, some of them.

Wednesday, December 22, 2010

Perhaps I should change the title of the blog (it currently is "Try-stopper blog") as
A.) The team I was playing on when the remark was made apparently no longer competes
B.) The name probably works better as a code-name, rather than as a pseudonym.

I realize a pseudonym wouldn't be logical anyway when the url address bears my name, but conceivably I could switch the url instead.

The good thing about posting at the beginning of the day is that there are endless possibilities.

I can make this the very best post there ever was.

I wonder if I just succeeded?

Monday, December 20, 2010

There doesn't seem to be an easy way to copy and paste text from other webpages onto this 'new post' page. That's weird.

Friday, December 17, 2010

The reason is that each day I figure that, perhaps later on, I'll have a better post to write.

Thursday, December 16, 2010

Why is it always 10:00 P.M. when I do these posts? I know the reason why, but I'll say so tomorrow.

Tuesday, December 14, 2010

I feel very slightly weird when I notice a particular post did not exceed 140 characters.

I saw a sports clip on youtube early this morning that filled me with a sense of joy. If you know me personally, then I'll tell you what it was. That's assuming I still remember what this post refers to.

So if you're the type of person who scours every five-post blog in the hope of being led to something new, then you're out of luck.

Saturday, December 11, 2010

One of my posts a few months earlier was labeled 'books read since such-and-such a date.' That's a lame idea to put in public. Not because it's bragging (and not that I read enough books to garner bragging rights), but it would compel me to slog through books I would otherwise not finish. (Wait, is that a bad thing?)

Friday, December 10, 2010

All right, so here goes a silly experiment.

Maybe if I write each day in my blog, that will add pressure to consistently write at least a little something each day. That is, if I know that other people are able to see whether or not I write each day, that could/should/might/may prompt me a little.
