Reeves Wiedeman recently published an article about the troubled history of The Undefeated--which was supposed to be an ESPN vanity site focusing on black sports and culture: http://nymag.com/daily/intelligencer/2015/07/jason-whitlock-and-the-saga-of-black-grantland.html
Reeves is a pretty good writer, so I checked who he follows on Twitter to try and crib some notes. He recently started following The Undefeated, as well Jason Whitlock (the subject of the article) and a handful of other black sports journalists. So I assume he followed all those people during the course of researching his article.
He also recently began following BourbonBlog.com, which describes itself as "The enthusiast's resource for all things spirited." So perhaps he's thinking about writing an essay about bourbon. I hope so. That sounds like an interesting topic!
