I checked Wreddit at 8:00 P.M. I looked at the top 25 posts. There really wasn't anything political, or controversial. There were a couple of nostalgia posts--i.e. photos or gifs from old matches. There were some WWE stories, including a couple posts about Millie McKenzie signing with NXT UK. The #2 post is a YouTube video titled "Simon Gotch Buries Enzo Amore," which is kind of funny because there's a running joke how that video always shows up in the recommendations sidebar, and now here it is near the top of Wreddit. I'm presuming it's the same video, although I guess it could be a joke video playing off the title. I expanded the preview and saw it was 18 minutes long, so it's probably the same video.

Here's a thought: What if I go the rest of the year without checking the internet. Would that even be possible? I would still use the internet...I just wouldn't check it. I don't see why it wouldn't be possible.

I've been binging the internet in spurts today. I've got 8 Chrome windows open with 180 tabs total. Right now I'm just documenting and screenshotting everything. And it's really mundane stuff. I'm not screenshotting the New York Times. There are a lot of tweets and Reddit threads and forum posts--things like that. I might have to open an image or two in a new tab, but I don't think I'll feel compelled to open that many new tabs just to document the ones that are already open.

I'm gone about 80 minutes so far without checking the internet. That's a good start. I'm going to have to move my laptop to the desk so that I don't accidentally start browsing the internet in the morning out of habit. Same with my iPhone.
