I stopped consuming caffeine again. It was either yesterday morning or that morning before that when I finished off a 2-liter bottle of Coke Zero. I was getting some headaches yesterday and had them today. The main reason I gave up caffeine was because I got constipated again. In the past, when I was constipated, I would have a Bang energy drink and that would do the trick. Or, if I wasn't drinking a Bang energy drink, I might have a Coke Zero or a Diet Coke and think, 'Well, this will help me go to the bathroom.' But I got to the point where I was so reliant on caffeine that it was messing me up. I went to Walgreen today and got some Fiber One bars and Fiber One protein bars and also some Fiber Well gummies. I thought I might have to take some Dulcolax soon, but about an hour ago I was finally able to go to the bathroom for the first time in like four days. Actually, it was the first time I'd been able to go to the bathroom since I last took Dulcolax, however long ago that was.
So it got to the point where I thought, 'Wouldn't it be better if I didn't have to take caffeine in order to shit?' A lot of times I would take caffeine just for a mental boost. But other times I would take caffeine to make a headache go away. And other times I would take caffeine and rationalize it by thinking that it would help me take a shit and lose some weight..
Maybe I'll feel better if I don't have shit stuck in my body. That makes sense, right?
